Folks in one my programs are approved for XI but it's not clear here whether OCR is supported. I work in an industry where we require approval to change software versions so, yes, although XI and X are EOL, I've had to maintain those major versions until I can get approval to upgrade to a newer version. How the heck did there versioning system devolve to such a complicated pile of horse ****. Enterprise-based pricing is issued on an individual basis, but you have more features than you would with the team version. Acrobat is now a full PDF ecosystem that works on the desktop, mobile apps, and the web. However, for businesses, the choice is between Acrobat DC for teams or Acrobat DC for enterprise. During which I've determined that my environment could have 1 of 15 ****ING versions of acrobat installed FIFTEEN DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THE SAME SOFTWARE. Individuals who purchase Adobe Acrobat weigh the differences between Adobe Acrobat Standard DC vs. I've spent nearly an ENTIRE workday trying to figure this out. Doesn't address which version supports optical character recognition (OCR).
